Hei Kristin, jeg dumpet nettopp over denne sida da jeg lette etter et bilde av Veholt-eika. Jeg driver nettstedet solumslekt.org, og er selv av gammel Solumsfamilie – min tipptipptippoldemor Marte Andersdatter (1736-1809) kom fra Veholt. Jeg skulle gjerne hatt et bilde (uten mennesker) av dette flotte gamle treet til bruk på Solumslekt. Hvis du kan skaffe meg det skal jeg selvfølgelig oppgi kilde. Hmmm, there is another reason to learn Norwegian for your Norwegian writings Anyway, I will be looking forward to reading your English creative adventures which you shape wonderful things with your words. Travel a lot, Kristin. And one day do not forget to visit Istanbul. I am sure you will find so much thing to write. take care.

Thank you for reading. Actually, you are right. I have been lost for some months. Life has been disjointed, and so have I. I am writing still, but not as often as I want to, and mostly in Norwegian. In a few weeks things will calm down, and then I hope there will be time for more creative adventures. Travel always puts me in a productive mood. Here’s to hoping. And writing. x

You have not written here since January. It is not fair. It seems you are born to write. When I read this blog, I see a great creative woman hunger for writing but then schocked to see you haven’t written for nearly five months. So I begin to think if you are lost on the way to back home. Where are you? You should not have lost your way because I am sure you dispersed the very imaginative pieces to find your way back home. Just look around and go on. Or I have so much panic. Maybe you still write but somewhere I do not know.

I miss you and would love to make a point of talking to you soon on skype. I’m stuck out in the woods of Kentucky for at least a couple more weeks, but maybe after that! Of course, then you’ll be in the States, won’t you…?

Thank you for reading, Lydia. That movie was my favorite when I was a kid too. When I think of it, it might still be at least one of my favorite as a grown-up as well.

Wow, crazy. On the fringes of a world being swallowed up. Reminds me of one of my favorite movies, “The Never-Ending Story,” where The Nothing is overtaking the world and a young boy has to make people believe in the unbelievable again to stop it.

Thank you, dear Aaron! Although I don’t know about courage. But I am a very trusting person. If you ever come to visit, I’ll take you to our cabin and show you what kind of area Høydalsmo is. It is probably easier to understand why I trust people when you meet them.
